New Year’s Eve, 2010
I don’t usually make real resolutions. More like vague intentions, without specific details. That way, I get all the feel-good of coming up with ideas for a happier, healthier, slimmer, more fiscally sound version of myself, without all the bummer of actually making it happen.
But this year, I’m going to do something simple. It will not take a lot of time and it doesn’t cost anything. My plan is to keep a journal of sorts, a digital scrapbook of my life. Every day (well except for major exemptions like vacations or medical emergencies) I will write or post something about that day. It will be brief and could be accompanied by links or pics or songs, whatever. The point is that I will mark each day in some way instead of letting them all blur together into the void.
Easy, right?
I wish I had thought of this sooner. Or rather that I had done it sooner.
So that’s what today is- the day I decided to do this.
